E³Expert can be used to determine optimal communication channels between aircraft and a ground stations. This page provides a simplified process of Spectrum Management for E³Expert. Our video will give a more generalized E³Expert demonstration.
Sample Steps for Inter-Platform EMC Analysis Application: (click images to scale to full-size)
1. Build a conservative CEM model of the aircraft, ground station, and known interference sources .
2. Model each channel under consideration as a separate antenna, with the source and receiver for that antenna tuned to the appropriate frequencies.
E³Expert allows multiple antennas to be co-located and can also evaluate several possible antenna choices mounted in the same location.
3. Review the results of the conservative coupling analysis and look for channels with low or no predicted interference
Channels that are blue (no coupling) and green (no interference) would be safe to select for this particular example.
Results can be viewed in detail with one-to-one summery windows and graphing tools in E³Expert.
